2nd Annual Notre Dame Lacrosse National Coaches Clinic

Registration is now open for our 2nd Annual NDLaxTV National Coaches Clinic on February 4-5, 2012. This FREE event will be limited to the first 250 coaches who register. The Notre Dame Staff will be presenting and hosting this event in the Loftus Indoor Stadium, the Isban Theatre and the Arlotta Stadium Team Room and it is open to coaches of ALL levels.

Discounted group rates at several hotels will be available.

Go to http://youthsports.nd.edu/ and then navigate into Men’s Camps and then Lacrosse and find the February Coaches Clinic link. Once you are registered you are all set.

The current tentative schedule draft for the event looks like this:

Feb 4, 2012

2:00-3:00: Registration at Arlotta Stadium or Guglielmino Athletic Center. Receive drill binder, practice plan, campus map, etc.

3-530: Film Session covering our exhibition Games with US National Team and Jacksonville from Champions Challenge including positional film on D, O, ride/clear and special situations followed by Q&A. Film will be in either Isban Theatre or Jordan Hall in the Mendoza College of Business

5:30-7: Dinner on your own, walking distance to Eddy Street Commons (Irish Pubs, Chipotle, 5 Guys, etc)

7:00-8:30: Open Practice in the Loftus Indoor Stadium followed by Staff Q&A regarding practice drills

9:00 Coaches Social with Cascade/Maverik Lacrosse at the Doubletree Irish Pub

9:00 to Noon: ND vs Robert Morris University (5 quarter scrimmage)

Noon-12:30: Tour The Goog Weightroom Facilities and meet with our Strength and Conditioning Coach (receive sample team workout)
