Baltimore, MD- January 3, 2014- Today, Aloha Tournaments announced the date for the 2014 Future Champions Lacrosse Tournament to be held at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, MD. The tournament will be held Sunday May 25, 2014, the same weekend as the 2014 NCAA® Men’s Lacrosse Championships. Each team will receive 20 Lower Level Endzone game tickets for the Semifinals on Saturday May 24, 2014 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD.
The Future Champions Lacrosse Tournament is a festival style tournament with divisions for boys U9, U11, U13 and U15. The event will also offer grade based divisions for players in the Classes of 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. All teams will be scheduled two full field games, which will consist of two, twenty minute running halves.
Not only will all participating teams receive 20 Lower Level Endzone game tickets grouped together (additional tickets available at a discounted rate), some teams will also have the chance to parade around the M&T Bank Stadium field before the first Semifinal game. But that’s not all, other teams will also have a chance to stand on the field and cheer on the starting lineups prior to the game. Players will also be selected to serve as ball boys during one of the games.
In 2013, over 40,000 athletes, between the ages of 7-18 competed in twenty different Aloha Tournaments events. While the competition is always top notch, emphasis is placed on providing each player, along with their family and friends, a unique lacrosse experience. In 2014, Aloha Tournaments will host events in eight different states across the country.
