Philadelphia, PA – September, 2013 – The American Indoor Lacrosse Association (AILA) today announced it will hold a regional qualifying event for the inaugural IMG Indoor Nationals on Saturday, November 23rd at the SGAA Dual Deck Hockey Arena in Snellville, GA. The IMG Indoor Nationals is an invitation and qualification only event series for U15, U17 and U19 US indoor lacrosse teams.
“We are excited to give teams from our area the opportunity to represent the South next January in Philly,” said Harold Bieber, tournament director and President of Fastbreak Lacrosse. “This is a great opportunity to showcase the immense amount of lacrosse talent in the south while also generating awareness for the benefits of playing box lacrosse.”
The top teams in each of the regional qualifying events will meet in Philadelphia, PA, on Jan. 10 — 12 at the Wells Fargo Center to vie for the championship. The IMG Indoor Nationals will also take place in conjunction with the Philadelphia Wings opening game of the 2014 National Lacrosse League professional indoor lacrosse season and also the 2014 U.S. Lacrosse National Convention.

Our long-term goal is to generate a greater level of youth involvement playing indoor lacrosse providing field lacrosse players the opportunity to compete and develop a special skill set that will enhance their game and lacrosse IQ”
