The Baltimore Sun is reporting that Under Armour will be introducing a new mouth guard that it says will not only protect the jaw, but also reduce stress for better performance. The lacrosse version of this mouth guard will be $450.
Yesterday we showed you pictures from the Ocean City Lacrosse Classic that included a pink Brine Gospel head. We were asked how the head was created (the head is pink on the exterior but remained white on the interior part of the head) and whether this was a dye job or a custom head. Earlier we showed you the uniforms for The Hobbit lacrosse team at the Ocean City Lacrosse Classic. In the search for a team to compete with them for best/most outlandish uniform, Baltimore Elite lacrosse may be a good challenger. Their uniform features elements of the Maryland flag draped on the jersey and shorts. Check out the photos (more after the jump) and vote on your favorite uni.
Last month we showed you the black and white Brine South Beach King II gloves. However, there's a special, even more limited edition glove out there. Below are shots of the pink version, of which there were only 100 made. Featuring an all-pink exterior and white leather palms, the gloves are only available through select retailers. Nike,with their re-release of the Air Pegasus GX, bring back fond memories from 1985. In 1985, John Hopkins defeated Syracuse by a score of 11-4 to win the NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse National Championship. A majority of the players that year were wearing the Nike Air Pegasus. The synthetic suede shoe with loud color combinations (Radiant Emerald/Plum and Varsity Purple/Volt) represent everything vintage about the eighties and everything hot about the new millennium.
