Boathouse Sports® Releases 180 Reversible Short

Philadelphia, PA – January 9, 2012 – Boathouse Sports® (www.boathouse.com) is proud to release its new single-layer sublimated 180 Reversible Short, an industry first. Boathouse introduced their single layer reversible pinnies and jerseys in 2009 with great success. The feedback Boathouse received from teams was all the inspiration needed to raise the bar and set a new benchmark for lacrosse shorts.

The new 180 Reversible Short is constructed using Boathouse’s exclusive Versa-Dri 200 fabric that can be fully sublimated on both sides, eliminating the need for two layers of fabric sewn together. With no side-seams, the 180 Reversible Short allows for complete wrap-around sublimation design possibilities. It features a loose, relaxed fit and an elastic waist. The 180 Reversible Short is available to teams at $45 for Adult; $42 for Boy’s and includes all standard sublimation costs. Men’s sizes range from XS- 4XL and Boy’s S- L.

“We are constantly looking for new ways to leverage our sublimation printing technology in the design of our products,” said Doug Tibbetts, President and Chief Executive Officer of Boathouse Sports.” There really are no design boundaries when it comes to using the sublimation process and our products. We truly believe if you can design it, we can make it.”

Stop by the Boathouse Sports® booth (#432/434 in Hall “A”) at the US Lacrosse National Convention on January 13 -15 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center to check out the new 180 Reversible Short and all of Boathouse’s outerwear, uniform and training styles.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
