Boys’ Latin’s Big Poppa Makes Play of the Week for Georgia Football

Three years ago, we had a lot to say about BL’s Greg Pyke:

According to Rivals.com Greg Pyke has just committed to the University of Georgia to play SEC football. He narrowed his choice down to Maryland, Penn State and Alabama before deciding on becoming a Bulldog. You might remember the 6’6″ 315lb offensive tackle/middie this past Spring when Booker Corrigan proclaimed him as “Big Poppa” after scoring a huge goal against McDonogh in a crucial MIAA matchup. His football highlight tape is pretty sick! He pancakes dudes all over the gridiron. He definitely carries the same swagger on the lacrosse field. Re-live Booker Corrigan’s call again by clicking HERE.

And today, he’s every bit as good as we thought he would be.

Georgia OL Greg Pyke carries RB Sony Michel and tosses him into the endzone for a touchdown.
