Sneaker Freaker did a unique spin on selecting the top shoes from 2009. They actually asked everyday people from around the globe their opinions on what deserves to be on the list.

As the 1995 Baltimore player-of-the-year and a three-time All-American and National Champion at Princeton, Lorne Smith knows lacrosse. Smith's post-collegiate career includes playing professionally and on the club circuit, as well as coaching. Smith now runs several West coast lacrosse camps and works as a sales rep for Warrior.

Doritos has recently announced that they will be carrying out a contest for the most creative and original 30 second ad for Super Bowl XLIV. The instructions include putting together an idea for a Doritos® brand Super Bowl XLIV commercial, write it, shoot it and submit it. Michael Doneger, former Hopkins standout, has submitted a video for the contest and is looking to cash in. Video after the jump.
Back in October we featured an up and coming actor, Alex Weber, who happened to be a standout at UPENN. When we interviewed Alex he had just appeared on Gossip Girl and was packing to head West to California. Now Alex will add a familiar role to his repertoire, a lacrosse player.
