WINSTON-SALEM, NC (June 11, 2013) – Champion, the official athletic apparel outfitter of the U.S. Women’s National Lacrosse Team, announced today that star defender Amber Falcone will serve as a brand ambassador as she and Team USA prepare to defend their World Championship title at this July’s Women’s World Cup in Ontario, Canada. Falcone will appear in national advertising highlighting her favorite Champion training apparel as well as the uniform Team USA will wear during this summer’s competition.
Named the top defender at the 2009 World Cup where the U.S. women took home the championship, Falcone is one of the top women’s lacrosse players in the world. She also is passionate about growing the game of lacrosse and serves as an assistant coach at Furman University.
