DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Yellow Jacket men’s lacrosse program is hosting the Rumble on the River in June, a lacrosse tournament for high school players. The tourney will offer athletes a chance to be seen by many NCAA and MCLA programs.
The tournament is a two-day event that begins on Saturday, June 15 and ends on Sunday, June 16. Defiance College is the host site of the event and all games will be held on the DC campus.
The cost of the tournament is $1,200 per team or $125 per individual. An individual who signs up will be placed on a free agent team. There will be three-to-four pool play games with playoffs following. An all-star game will be held after the playoffs finish. There will be varsity and junior varsity divisions set up to accommodate all skill levels.
Each team is guaranteed at least one game on the new turf field at Justin F. Coressel Stadium.
