Boston, Mass. (May 10, 2011) – Major League Lacrosse (MLL) announced today that it has added EFX Performance to its steadily growing stable of licensees. Beginning with the 2011 season, MLL players will be sporting their team’s custom wristbands both on and off the field.
“Our elite athletes will be wearing these wristbands, which are believed to improve balance and strength,” said MLL Commissioner David Gross. “We consistently have the well being of our players in mind and the holographic technology of EFX wristbands is designed to maximize performance and improve overall wellness.”
EFX, a play on the word “effects,” is growing its presence across the country. The silicone wristbands are embedded with two holograms and will be customized according to each MLL team’s colors and logos. A Major League Lacrosse wristband will also be available. Fans can purchase EFX products at www.EFXUSA.com or at merchandise kiosks in various markets. Bands will also be included in cumulative prize packages for the 2011 MLL Warrior Fantasy Challenge, the fantasy game of Major League Lacrosse.
Over the past year, Paul Rabil, Matt Danowski, Max Seibald, and Matt Poskay have all signed with EFX and will represent the company at lacrosse events across the country this summer as members of Team EFX.
