Georgetown Prep Tops Landon for the IAC Title

24Seven classically penned Saturday’s Interstate Athletic Conference (IAC) championship environment between Georgetown Prep and Landon as “unreal.” 24 further writes,

Familiarity breeds contempt. It also breeds classic rivalries. Classic rivalries typically involve storied programs. Georgetown Prep and Landon are certainly not an exception to that rule. Between the two teams, they have placed 27 players on NCAA Division 1 tournament rosters this year. Yesterday in Bethesda, Maryland, the neighboring schools and bitter rivals met for the IAC Championship. This tournament championship now holds much more weight than in years past. The tourney champion now decides who sits atop the IAC. Despite finishing 3rd in the league and suffering a bad loss earlier in the year at the hands of Landon, Prep overcame a 3 goal deficit in the 3rd to tie it and eventually win it in OT.

Penn State commit, Bobby Gribbin, blasts the game winning goal upper 90.
