The video is a clear representation of rage on the field. The girl whacks her once sending her opponent to the ground, then continues to repeatedly bash her head in tomahawk style and even makes contact with some punches to the face. No wonder a good amount of people want helmets in women’s lacrosse. Love how the ref just casually walks over like it’s no big deal. The game is apparently between two Connecticut high schools.

According to a Barstool reader:

Lax chick gets her ass handed to her on darien lacrosse. Also think her dad is coach of boys team.

Please leave your opinion of this vicious beat down below in the comments. Should this behavior be tolerated under any circumstance?

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.

The ref was a little slow to respond, probably had never seen anything like that before and was caught off guard. I like the fact that none of the other players got involved. In boys lax there would have been a melee!

this should not be used in the BS argument for helmets in girls lacrosse. IMO if you want to wear helmets, go play boys lax.
This is a clear case of poor sportsmanship and should not be tolerated in any game.
I don’t care what sport it is, if the offending player was not banned from the league, I would pull my children immediately.
