Handcrafted from solid cherry, Glory Hound lacrosse award shafts feature a unique engraving area aligned with the face of the head, allowing them to be displayed on the wall. (patent pending).

“As a coach, I wanted a unique way to reward players for their hard work while celebrating the sport. The Glory Hound award shaft provides players with a great looking, one of a kind display that players appreciate,” says Derek Craig, Top Dog at Glory Hound.

Glory Hound display shafts are available in men’s (30”) and women’s (32”) stick sizes and fit standard heads. Each is handcrafted of select cherry and customized with the finest laser engraving process.

“They make great Christmas gifts, MVP awards, senior gifts, tournament trophies, coach gifts and sponsor gifts,” continues Craig. “We also have Team Packs and Fundraising discounts that allow teams to reward their players for less. One of the popular scenarios is to combine a pre-season fundraiser with holiday gifts; teams can earn money by gathering gift orders from team parents.”

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
