NEW YORK / NJ/ PA — Goal Guardian National LLC is proud to announce their inaugural event, the Guardian National Championship is taking place on July 23 – 24, 2014 at Spooky Nook Sports Center in Manheim, PA.   The Guardian National Championship is the first ever  “championship style” goalie combine ever offered.  The best of the best, both domestically and internationally, have been invited to compete against each other for the chance to be crowned the Guardian of their age group.

The Championship Competition is based on a patented “Guardian Method” points competition, which is unlike any other Showcase event.  With over 100 total Goalies participating, and 50+ College Coaches, this Showcase is the largest ever offered in the United States at the largest Indoor Sports Complex in the U.S. using the highest level of technology available in amateur sports.

The Selection Board for this prestigious event is World Class, where every member has coaching and playing experience at the Professional or International level.
The GGN Selection Board members include:

Goaltenders are not just another position on the field. Their skills and responsibilities are, in fact, a specialization. Their education and evaluation should be comprehensive and done by experts in the field. That is the goal of this combine.

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
