Grievances and Theatrics in a Lacrosse Lawsuit

A women’s lacrosse coach whose team participates in the New Canaan Lacrosse Association is sueing the league for gender discrimination. The beef of the lawsuit stems to violations of Title IX prohibition of sex discrimination in education. The women’s team receives negative attention from the board, hand-me-down uniforms from the boys’ team, fewer attention from referees (they don’t show up), and more.
