CAMBRIDGE, Mass.Morgan Cheek has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week following his two-goal performance in Harvard’s 8-7 win over No. 9/8 Yale, conference officials announced Monday.

Cheek turned in his second straight multi-goal performance with two scores against the Bulldogs, marking his third multiple-point effort of the year. Cheek has totaled 14 points on seven goals and seven assists this season, including a five-point outburst (3g, 2a) two weeks ago at Princeton.

Cheek is the third member of the Crimson to earn a weekly award from the Ivy League this season.
