Holmes, PA – The HEADstrong Foundation™ and Stylin Strings Inc. have teamed to present the Strings For Hope Project (SFHP™). Through this newly formed partnership, Stylin Strings has been named the official head stringers and dyers of the HEADstrong Foundation™. SFHP™ is focused on celebrating customization, uniting the custom mesh community and promoting cancer awareness. The campaign will not only allow customers the ability customize lacrosse heads and pockets but also allow them to select from a wide range of exclusively designed mesh and strings to support the cause.
Some of the top mesh suppliers in the game including: East Coast Mesh, Jimalax, and Throne of String were directly involved in creating official HEADstrong mesh so that customers can build their custom head exclusively through Stylin Strings.
“The evolution of custom stringing, stringing components and mesh suppliers in the game is quite fascinating and has created a new product category in the sport. These companies have provided a channel for self-expression and personalization that we believe is an ideal platform for promoting cause awareness. Over the years we have fostered some amazing relationships with mesh suppliers and were looking for a way to collaborate on a project to allow for lacrosse players to support the cause while having the ability to build custom pockets using their preferred components. SFHP is an incredible way for lacrosse players to raise awareness and share the HF mission on the playing field. Stylin Strings is known in the industry as one the most innovative dye studio’s in the sport and we are proud to have them as the official custom stringer/dyer of the HEADstrong Foundation.” says Pat Colleluori, HF CMO and Nick’s Brother
Through SFHP™, Stylin Strings will create a custom pocket called the “Relentless Pocket”. The pocket will be available in all colors with a percentage of proceeds supporting the mission.

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
Predicting the PLL Protected Player Rosters (Pro Lacrosse Talk Podcast #129)
byPro Lacrosse Talk
On this episode of the Pro Lacrosse Talk Podcast, Hutton Jackson and Adam Moore are joined by Lacrosse Playground contributor Brian Andrews. They discuss the Atlas cutting Scott Rodgers, Jeremy Thompson, Kyle Hartzell and Callum Robinson, the trade that sent Rob Pannell to the Redwoods and Chris Hogan, Dalton Crossan and Garrett Thul joining the PLL. They also discuss the retirement of Matt Danowski and Brett Schmidt, provide their predictions for the protected rosters particularly with Dillon Ward, Connor Fields, Paul Rabil, Joe Walters and Kyle Harrison, and theorize what it would take for Coach Sean Quirk to trade the top pick in the PLL Entry Draft and presumably the chance to draft Lyle Thompson.
