“Lax Bro Life”-Style Taking Over, One Tank at a Time

The boys behind the wildly popular GYM TAN LAX® tank tops, (asociaL Empire) do not stop for a second, even as lax bros and babes from coast to coast proudly wear their goods. So, this summer, they were proud to announce the release of their latest product lines, LAX BRO LIFE® and LAX on LAX on LAX®, including new tanks and tee shirts. I was lucky enough to snag some of the new gear, and I already wear them around constantly! All pictures show the fit of a size small, which is long (since I’m not tall by any means…unless high heels are involved) but very comfortable! The tanks and tees can be worn to the gym, to practice, as a bathing suit coverup for the ladies, or even around town. (Tucked one into a skirt once and was good to go!)

Expect more new releases in the coming weeks, including the long-awaited GYM TAN LAX mesh reversibles, the return of the USA-themed Boss and Glory tanks, and all-new snapback hats, as well as a completely revamped website and back-to-school line coming in September.

GYM TAN LAX was started at the University of Florida by UF laxers who had the intention of bringing the Sunshine State brand of lacrosse nationwide, but it has quickly proven to be a global phenomenon. I haven’t been to a tournament all summer that I haven’t seen one “GYM TAN LAX” tank at, and every time I wear one out, people ask me where I got mine. If you are going to GYM TAN LAX, go with The OG’s, one of which I hung from the “rafters” this weekend. Got to respect the originals!

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
