Laxbal is twofold, a team and an apparel company with its sights set high. Team Laxbal was started by Francis Collins in 2006 with Ridgewood and Mountain Lakes High School alums with a vision of creating the most dominant summer team in the game. Orange, White and Forrest Green are the team colors just like Miami Football, aka the ‘U.’ They play with that Championship Swag that only the very best teams have. They play to win, and win BIG.
Every year, Team Laxbal brings in the best talent to play in the Hoboken Summer League and wear the White, Orange and Forrest Green. The Hoboken team is composed of players who work or intern in NYC and NJ for June and July and end the summer with the Famous War at the Shore Tournament in Brick, NJ. Players on this year’s team include National Champion Scott McWilliams, Chris Daniello, Chris Pedersen, Evan Brady, Sean Kirwan, Steve Dircks, Patt Flynn, Keith Switzer, Kyle Moffitt, Sean McGuire, Orry Michael, Matt Hippenbecker and Tim Donovan.
The other arm of Laxbal is the apparel side. Very much like the team, Laxbal Clothing was also founded by Francis Collins shortly after the 2006 War at the Shore tournament. If you want to be recognized as one of the best players in the game, you should be wearing Laxbal clothing.
