Holmes, PA – Calling all lacrosse teams, coaches, players, alumni, officials, fans and families. It’s time to toss those razors and get growing for the 6th installment of Lacrosse Mustache Madness™ (LMM™). LMM™ has become a fall tradition in the sport of lacrosse supporting the HEADstrong Foundation™. The campaign is set to kick-off this Sunday, October 19th and will run through November 30th.
Be amongst the best lacrosse teams in the country and face-off to see who will claim the Stache crown. Could it be you? Players and teams can register anytime leading up to and during the campaign for free at www.LaxStacheMadness.com.
Free registration, more obtainable goals, attractive prizes, newly designed webpage and official Stache swag from Lacrosse Unlimited are just a few of the new additions to the annual fundraising campaign.
With a 50cc Malibu Scooter, Warrior Regulator Helmets, Go Pro Cameras, Warrior HF Burn Gloves, Warrior Coxswain Shoes, HEADstrong Gift Cards and plenty of Stache gear up for grabs this year the campaign is shaping up to be the best year yet.
Lacrosse Mustache Madness is an interactive, online driven fundraiser encouraging lacrosse teams and players to either grow or draw on mustaches of any imaginable shape or size and use them to raise money for the cause. Players can grow together or support a coach growing a mustache. For coaches that already have a mustache, this is your chance to use it for the greater good. Participation is completely free and teams are encouraged to setup team fundraising pages to compete against other colleges, universities and teams from across the country.

“We are encouraging everyone to get involved this year. Last year we raised a record breaking $108,000 and we are looking to do even bigger things this year. Let’s turn whiskers and stubble into a stache statement in support of those affected by cancer.” says Ken Clausen, LMM Founder
In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
