Long Island City, NY — November 5, 2009 – Maverik Lacrosse, a pioneer in innovative lacrosse equipment, today launched its new Website, www.maveriklacrosse.com featuring a unique new “Product Customizer” tool.

Maverik’s “Product Customizer” takes the company’s long standing philosophy of products designed by players for players a step further by giving our customers a pallet of 12 colors to design custom team gloves (Maybach, Dynasty or Fox), arm pads (Maybach Middie or Attack) or Maverik’s new for 2010 Monster equipment bag online.

“We are always looking for ways to improve our products and take them to the next level of performance and style,” said John Gagliardi. “Everyone we spoke to at clinics and tournaments over the Summer said that the number one item on their wish list from Maverik was a way to buy custom equipment for their team and to make it easy to do. So, since we were already planning a redesign of our Website we decided to take both to give our customers what they wanted, the ultimate in customization.”

Maverik’s site will continue to feature the latest lacrosse video creations from Jay Jalbert and Maverik Films and give visitors access to its online vault of epic Maverik lacrosse videos. Visitors to the site will have one click access to the latest product info, a roster of Maverik “Soldiers” with their bios and short Q&A interviews, a scrolling “News Ticker” keeping you up to speed on its players efforts to take lacrosse and Maverik products to the next level.

So bookmark the page, www.maveriklacrosse.com, because the Maverik Lacrosse is always on the move and you never know what you will see next on our site.

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
