Maverik Lacrosse Premiers "Soldiers Exposed" Video Series with Paul Rabil

Long Island City, NY – December 29, 2009 – Maverik Lacrosse premiers “Soldiers Exposed — Paul Rabil,” (www.maveriklacrosse.com) the first in a new series of profile videos from Maverik Films and cutting edge lacrosse film director Jay Jalbert.

In “Soldiers Exposed — Paul Rabil,” the all-time leader in goals and assists at Johns Hopkins University and one of the premier midfielders for the Boston Cannons in Major League Lacrosse discusses dodging techniques and why it is important to incorporate a double move to keep your defender guessing. In addition, Rabil talks about what he looks for in a stick and why he uses the Maverik “Vision.” The video captures Paul Rabil’s 111 mph shot shredding a net in slow motion detail while using Maverik’s newly designed Maybach gloves, Vision head and Wonder Boy shaft.

“The concept of Soldiers Exposed was to give an inside profile look at our players,” said Jay Jalbert, co-founder and Creative Director for Maverik Lacrosse. “We took a step back this year and asked ourselves if the public knew everything they needed to know about our guys. Where are they from? What equipment do they like? What are their favorite moves? Our primary goal was the information from the team. Then we worked on visually capturing this information to tell the story.”

In 2010 Maverik will also debut videos for “Soldiers” Dan Hardy (Denver Outlaws, MLL Rookie of the year, 3 Time NCAA All American Syracuse University), Kyle Sweeney (Team USA, Boston Canons and Philadelphia Wings), and John Christmas (Boston Canons and Philadelphia Wings).

“We are all very excited about this year’s videos,” said John Gagliardi, President and founder of Maverik Lacrosse. “Jay and the Maverik Films crew have always done an incredible job in producing some of the most captivating footage in the game. We are always looking for new ways to take our equipment and the sport of lacrosse to the next level. The videos we are launching in 2010 will definitely push the envelope of creativity and innovation, just like our products.”
