FOLSOM, Pa. -- The University of Michigan men's lacrosse team was defeated 16-8 by the Marist Red Foxes and 19-10 by the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers on Saturday (Oct. 6) in the sixth annual Nick Colleluori Classic at Ridley High School. The classic, which benefits the HEADStrong Foundation to combat blood cancer, is held in memory of the late Nick Colleluori. With on-field results normally being of the utmost importance, the main aspect of the Colleluori Classic is the tournament's mission to benefit the HEADstrong Foundation. University of Michigan Lacrosse unveiled an image of their new practice helmets for Fall Ball. The Warrior TII helmet displays a White to Blue fade with Michigan insignia presented in Maize on the side. The facemask also displays a fade colorway. This resembles the Duke helmet we witnessed in the 2012 Final Four.

The 3rd Annual Lake Michigan Fall Lacrosse Classic is taking place November 4th, 2012, on the campus of Concordia University Wisconsin. The tournament will run from 8am-5pm with three guaranteed games per team. The tournament is run by the Head Lacrosse Coach at Rutgers University, Brian Brecht and Head Lacrosse Coach at Concordia University Wisconsin, Jeff Roberts.
