BALTIMORE, Md. - Senior midfielder Kevin Crowley (New Westminster H.S./New Westminster, B.C.) of Stony Brook University was selected by the Hamilton Nationals with the first overall pick in the 2011 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft held at the Power Plant on Friday evening.
Honored as the Division I Preseason Player of the Year by Lacrosse Magazine, Crowley became the first player in Stony Brook men's lacrosse history to earn first team All-America honors after scoring 51 goals with 26 assists. The Syracuse alums wore Flow Society Argyle shorts this past weekend when they faced the current 'Cuse team in the Orange Alumni Classic. The shorts are Orange/Navy and mesh well with the jerseys.
The Syracuse men’s lacrosse team will conclude its fall practice season with the first Orange Alumni Classic at the Carrier Dome on Saturday, Oct. 9. The current Orange team will take on a star-studded group of SU lacrosse alums in a regulation contest beginning at 3 p.m. Below is the helmet that the alumni will be wearing.
