Pro Lacrosse Talk
About the Pro Lacrosse Talk Podcast
Pro Lacrosse Talk is Lacrosse Playground’s flagship podcast covering all three professional lacrosse leagues (NLL, PLL, Athletes Unlimited). Each week throughout the season, Adam Moore and Hutton Jackson recap the games across the leagues, provide analysis on the teams and feature exclusive interviews with current and former professional lacrosse players, coaches and executives. If you’re a fan of lacrosse podcasts like Lacrosse Classified, The Crease Dive, Unbuckled Chinstrap or The Inside Feed, then give the Pro Lacrosse Talk podcast a listen.
On this episode of the Pro Lacrosse Talk Podcast, Hutton Jackson and Adam Moore are joined by Lacrosse Playground contributor Brian Andrews. They discuss the Atlas cutting Scott Rodgers, Jeremy Thompson, Kyle Hartzell and Callum Robinson, the trade that sent Rob Pannell to the Redwoods and Chris Hogan, Dalton Crossan and Garrett Thul joining the PLL. They also discuss the retirement of Matt Danowski and Brett Schmidt, provide their predictions for the protected rosters particularly with Dillon Ward, Connor Fields, Paul Rabil, Joe Walters and Kyle Harrison, and theorize what it would take for Coach Sean Quirk to trade the top pick in the PLL Entry Draft and presumably the chance to draft Lyle Thompson.

About the Founders
In 2019, Adam Moore and Hutton Jackson, two former NCAA athletes and lifetime lacrosse fans, recognized the need for a news source devoted solely to professional lacrosse. So the duo started prolacrossetalk.com and the Pro Lacrosse Talk podcast to fill that void.
At the time of its inception, Pro Lacrosse Talk was the first and only lacrosse podcast to cover all four professional lacrosse leagues (MLL, NLL, PLL, WPLL). Pro Lacrosse Talk quickly became the main source for pro lacrosse breaking news stories, featured articles on players, sports betting and fantasy lacrosse challenges and podcast interviews with the top pro players, coaches and executives.
In late 2020, Adam and Hutton were approached by James Micelli and Playground Sports to help relaunch and manage lacrosseplayground.com. In doing so, the duo was able to revamp one of the most successful lacrosse sites of the past decade, while elevating the Pro Lacrosse Talk brand under the newly formed Lacrosse Playground podcast network.
Like original Lacrosse Playground founders Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford, Adam and Hutton hope to create a lacrosse site that fosters a sense of belonging within the lacrosse community and spotlights the unique and diverse personalities within the game from the professional and collegiate level to the high school and youth level.
Hutton Jackson
Editor-in-chief / Coordinating Producer
Hutton Jackson is a professional video editor, co-founder/host of Pro Lacrosse Talk and editor-in-chief of Lacrosse Playground. He is also an Emmy-winning associate producer with two major sports networks and oversees Lacrosse Playground’s video content as the head coordinating producer. Hutton played four years of college lacrosse at DeSales University where his highest lacrosse accolade was being named to Inside Lacrosse’s 2014 All-Name Team with current pros Challen Rogers, Deemer Class and Larken Kemp, an honor that didn’t require stepping on the field. When he’s not writing on lacrosse, he can usually be found diving around the crease in your local men’s league and ranting about Baltimore and D.C. sports.
Adam Moore
Managing Editor / Creative Director
Adam Moore is a Delco native, co-founder/host of Pro Lacrosse Talk and managing editor of Lacrosse Playground. He also has a passion for sports history and serves as Lacrosse Playground’s creative director. Adam has been writing on lacrosse for more than a decade and has been published online with The Capital Gazette and US Lacrosse Magazine. Adam played four years of college lacrosse as a goaltender for Elizabethtown College. When he’s not covering pro lacrosse, he can be found coaching at Boys’ Latin School in Baltimore and watching Philadelphia sports.
