Adam Sandler made the TV rounds yesterday to promote his newest movie called That's My Boy. He landed on the set of Jimmy Fallon and Conan O'Brien wearing a Hofstra Lacrosse shooting shirt. A good amount of the guys on the team are from Long Island (including myself) so it was definitely one we had circled on the schedule. We started off hot, but Hofstra kept coming and before you knew it, it was 9-9 at the end of regulation. OT felt like forever (#goalieproblems) with both teams getting chances, especially after I threw away a pass right to one of their attackmen. The Le Moyne College men's lacrosse team opened its 2012 season with a pair of scrimmages against nationally-ranked Division I teams on Sunday at the Carrier Dome. In the first game of the day, the Dolphins faced 14th-ranked Hofstra and fell 9-5, while they closed the afternoon with an 11-5 loss to eighth-ranked Syracuse.
