Second Annual Will Barrow Memorial Flag Football Tournament

We are very excited to invite you to the Second Annual Will Barrow Memorial Flag Football Tournament. Last year the event was a huge success. Everyone had an awesome weekend in Charlottesville, and the event raised a significant amount of money for the UVa HELP Line. The UVa Help Line is a student-operated program that strives to lend an ear to students with any sort of issue they wish to discuss. They were extremely grateful for our support last year, and they are very excited about making this year another awesome event for everyone.

This year, the flag football tournament will take place on Saturday, November 6th from 12-4pm at Lambeth Field (same location as last year). We hope to get teams from lacrosse programs, fraternities, sororities, and other organizations from all across the East Coast. Roster limit will be capped at 10 people and entry fee is $150 per team, but feel free to bring more people to town as substitutes or just to enjoy the weekend.

We will have live music as well as Big Jim’s BBQ down on the field throughout the day. We will also be selling T-shirts, wristbands, drinking cups, and raffle tickets on site.

We will keep you updated throughout the month on this event, but we just wanted to have everyone save the date. Start getting your roster and team uniform ready! Thanks again for your support of this event. It means a lot to everyone connected with our friend Will and the extended community. Hope to see you November 6th in Charlottesville!

Pleae email us at [email protected] if you are interested in participating or donating to the cause!

Additionally, all check can be made out to “Madison House HELP Line” and can be mailed to:

Thanks Again!

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
