EASTON, Pa. – Lafayette men’s lacrosse sophomore Erik Cannon (Ridgewood, N.J./Don Bosco Prep) was named a member of the All-Patriot League Second Team, the League announced Monday.

“This is a great honor for Erik,” head coach Jim Rogalski said. “I am glad that the other coaches in the league recognized his talents. He is the leader of our defense and is just scratching the surface of his abilities. The future of our defense is in good hands with Erik at the helm.”

The Ridgewood, N.J. native finished first in the Patriot League and third in the nation with 2.21 caused turnovers per game. He was also sixth in the League with 4.07 ground balls per game.
