SoSo 69: Shenandoah Dye, 2 Trads, Finished Notre Dame Sticks

Welcome back to the 69th episode of the Ship Out Shout Out! This week we start off with some great beard commentary by our host Justin and our lead dye artist #FrankieFingers. Our first stick this week is a traditional brown leather Pita pocket strung in a Brine RP3 with all Jimalax materials.

Next we have a Warrior Burn HS with a Cali Plus pocket strung with East Coast Dyes Hero Mesh and Hero Strings. Then comes time for the custom dyed heads which starts off with an STX Shield excellently dyed for a Shenandoah University Goalie. Back to the custom pockets we go with a Warrior Evo 3 strung with a Traditional pocket to match in all Virginia colors. Up next we have something special 5 custom dyed and strung Maverik Tanks done as a thank you to the Notre Dame men’s lacrosse coaching staff for our partnership this year that will be featured in our new segment Speed String Saturdays. Finally we end the show with some very unique, an offset Gait Icon dyed to match a shaft for the University of Virginia’s manager Peter K. shaft and strung by Tyler Bortner with a Skoogle pocket. That’s it for this week folks but make sure to tune in Saturday to the speed string to see the Notre Dame heads in action!

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
