Stick Check…Please?

Didn’t think we would still be able to see a player swim through six defensemen while retaining control of the ball with the new stringing rules, but it still happens. In the midst of No. 15 Palm Beach Atlantic’s 15-14 win over No. 18 Western Washington, junior Dominic Scalzo scored this ridiculous goal.

Did you notice the coach screaming “Yellow”? “Yellow” is usually called when your team is doing a substitution on the fly. Pretty ballsy move for Scalzo to head to the cage with a head full of steam man-down.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.

The reason the ball didn’t come out was because nobody put him on his ass. Defenders have to clear the crease in that situation. If they had put a body on him, that wouldn’t have happened.
