Los Angeles, CA. November 6, 2014; StringKing Lacrosse is proud to announce the release of Performance Mesh Type 2. Weighing only 30 grams and available in 8 new colors, as well as classic white, Type 2 mesh ushers in the next generation of performance lacrosse mesh.

“With Type 1, our focus was on engineering and manufacturing the most consistent, all-weather performance lacrosse mesh on the market,” says Co-Founder and President, Jake McCampbell. “For Type 2, we improved on that foundation by developing new technologies that make our mesh lighter, tighter and stronger than ever before.”

Manufactured using StringKing’s new P2 Fibers and patent pending TITE Technology, Type 2 Performance Mesh is 12% lighter, 15% thinner, 30% tighter and more than twice as durable as it’s Type 1 predecessor.

Type 2 is also the first StringKing mesh available in color. Adding pigments to the raw materials before the fibers are even spun gives StringKing Type 2 a bold color without sacrificing performance.

To ensure all-weather performance for the most consistent pockets in lacrosse, all StringKing mesh is engineered with non-nylon materials and is never coated in wax.

“We pride ourselves on our proprietary materials and patent pending manufacturing techniques that allow us to remove materials like nylon and wax that are affected by moisture and temperature,” added McCampbell.

StringKing Performance Mesh Type 2 is now available online and at local lacrosse retailers for $19.99. To learn more about Performance Mesh Type 2 as well as where to buy, visit StringKingLacrosse.com
