Surgeon Scandium

The slightly thicker model of the Surgeon SciTi the new Surgeon Scandium 2016 sports the same updated shape and reduction in weight this year. Still slightly heavier this handle comes with a lower price tag too.

Shape 9 out of 10

This years shape for the STX Surgeon Handles is different from any they have done before. More beveled and with placement for your fingers to get a good grip the new shape is a definite improvement over past shapes. You will love the feel of this handle in your hands

8 out of 10

The STX Surgeon Scandium is still a very light handle but it is not one of the lightest on the market. The Sciti weighs in lighter but it’s not like you need to be Greg Gurenlian size to carry this shaft it is still super light.

Durability 9 out of 10

The added weight comes from a thicker sidewall. The thicker sidewall gives the Surgeon Scandium more weight in an impact and reduces the denting. Throwing a hard check should feel confident with the Surgeon Scandium this year.

Overall 8.5 out of 10

Great handle for a mid level price definitely recommend this for the up and coming players who like to play both sides of the field this season.
