Video: Former Navy Lacrosse Player Dies in Helicopter Crash

Brendan Looney, a former Navy lacrosse player who lived in Silver Spring, was among nine U.S. military personnel killed in a Blackhawk helicopter crash Tuesday in southern Afghanistan. Army knocked off a giant last Sunday. They have a much easier opponent this weekend, but nonetheless, a formidable one who they lost to earlier in the season. Their actions on the field pale in comparison to what they will do when their time is up at the Point. And, of course, they don't need reminding. It's who they are.
