HAMILTON, N.Y. - The eighth-ranked and second-seeded Lehigh men’s lacrosse team put together one of its strongest offensive outbursts of the season, tying a season-high 16 goals to beat the #10 Colgate Raiders, 16-14 and win its first-ever Patriot League Tournament Championship on Sunday. The Mountain Hawks (14-2) jumped out to a 5-0 lead then held off a Raiders’ (12-3) charge to earn the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Our favorite lacrosse announcer, Booker Corrigan, laid down another amazing video for us to ogle. Corrigan wound up covering his alma mater, Radnor High School, for Kudda Sports over the weekend. DENVER - Steele Stanwick scored a career-high six goals and finished with seven points to lead the No. 6 Virginia Cavaliers (11-3) to a 10-8 victory over the Penn Quakers (3-10), Friday evening at the Whitman's Sampler Mile High Classic, inside Sports Authority Field and Mile High.
