For the second time in 2012, Highland Park traveled north to the Episcopal School of Dallas. Also for the second time in 2012, the Scots were unable to hold a fourth quarter lead. The first meeting ended 11-10 in favor of the Eagles. This time, however, in a must-win game, the Highland Park defense was able to force overtime with the score tied at seven. Frankie Kelly is the nephew of two former tar heel lacrosse players. His father, Frank Kelly, played lacrosse at Cornell, and his cousin David currently plays at Rutgers. The Denver Outlaws travelled east to scrimmage the Chesapeake Bayhawks this past weekend at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Md. The scrimmage featured the teams' traditional players, yet the rain apparently spoiled the afternoon. The two teams fought at least four times before the game ended. Read More...
