"Brain Wreck" Dunk High Premium just hit the shelves of most stores this week. Notice the writing on the back of each shoe and the famous SB fat tongue. The fat tongue adds extra padding for comfort and was initially made to help skateboarders out, i.e. SB. Nevertheless, the fat tongue became popular with many because of the spongy cushion. Nike,with their re-release of the Air Pegasus GX, bring back fond memories from 1985. In 1985, John Hopkins defeated Syracuse by a score of 11-4 to win the NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse National Championship. A majority of the players that year were wearing the Nike Air Pegasus. The synthetic suede shoe with loud color combinations (Radiant Emerald/Plum and Varsity Purple/Volt) represent everything vintage about the eighties and everything hot about the new millennium.
