Panos will replace Mike Ryder, who left Tampa to take a coaching position with the new and emerging lacrosse program at the IMG Academy. Greg Griffo Becomes Tampa’s First Lacrosse All-American, Full Division II All-American List Included

TAMPA, Fla. - University of Tampa men's lacrosse standout Greg Griffo has been named an honorable mention All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Coaching Association (USILA). He becomes the first player in program history to earn the honor. Griffo, a senior from Babylon, N.Y., recently concluded his Spartan career as the team's leading scorer. In 16 games, he netted 28 goals and 10 assists, including a pair of game-winning goals. He registered at least one points in 14 games this season. Read More...

Griffo Scores Late Goals to Lift Spartans Past Bears

HICKORY, N.C. - In a game with five lead changes and eight ties, Greg Griffo scored two goals in the final three minutes to give the University of Tampa men's lacrosse team a 13-11 win over deep south conference opponent Lenoir-Rhyne Saturday afternoon at Moretz stadium. With the win the Spartans improve to 8-4 overall and 5-1 in conference play, while the Bears fall to 8-5 and 5-2 in the DSC. Read More...
