BALTIMORE, Dec. 4, 2013 — US Lacrosse is proud to announce the recipients of the 2013 Michael Breschi Scholarship, Cameron Lynch from Glascow (Ky.) High School and Conor Resch from La Salle College (Pa.) High School. The scholarship was established in 2007 to honor the life and memory of Michael Breschi, son of the University of North Carolina's head coach, Joe Breschi. BALTIMORE, Nov. 18, 2013 — US Lacrosse today announced the 2014 men’s post-collegiate rules for players ranging from recently graduated college players through age 45-and-older. The US Lacrosse Men’s Game Committee and US Lacrosse Board of Directors approved the rules, which are the result of modifications to the current NCAA men’s rules that focus primarily on age-appropriate checking and body contact. BALTIMORE, Sept. 19, 2013 — US Lacrosse today announced that 136 schools and civic organizations across 38 states have been selected as 2013 Physical Education and Soft Stick Lacrosse Equipment Grant recipients. BALTIMORE, July 1, 2013 - The US Lacrosse Board of Directors has approved a written Standard for Athlete Safety and Protection that officially defines the national governing body’s position on safeguarding the well-being of minor athletes. The 14-page document outlines both prohibited and prescribed conducts and behaviors for its adult members who interact with youth athletes in various leadership capacities, including in the roles of coach, official, and team administrator or volunteer.
