Team England erased deficits late in regulation and overtime, sealing a 13-12 victory with two goals in the last minute of OT.

Cornell alumnus Brad Kamedulski ’10 has been selected as a member of the first-ever Polish National Lacrosse team, which will be competing in the upcoming Federation of International Lacrosse World Championships, held from July 16-24 in Manchester, England. During his stay, Kamedulski will provide journal entries for CornellBigRed.com. Kamedulski, whose grandfather Eugene Kamedulski was a Polish war hero fighting for the Allies in World War II before immigrating to the United States in 1954, acquired dual-citizenship this spring and is one of nine Americans on the team. All of the teams are living in dorms on campus, the dining halls are all shared, and team gear is more than prominent. As countries scrimmage in Manchester for the World Games this week, it's been a long couple of days for one team in particular. The Iroquois Nationals have yet to take flight. Their Visas aren't being recognized by the US Government (they have to fly out of USA) for travel to the games. The Independent is one of the many publications writing about the terrible situation.
