Take It Deep is a newly launched active lifestyle company based in NYC. Their motto: “stay active, get involved, take it deep”. Among their new line of tees is a lacrosse inspired design, Top Cheese. This tee is built just like the sport it seeks to celebrate, containing the perfect mix of confidence and style. Made from a light weight, 100% combed ring spun cotton Yellow shirt. American made, this product consists of 50% style and 50% skill.

Using the phrase “Top Cheese” became quite popular circa Spring ’09 when Div. II player, Jesse Painter, was looking for a spot on a club team in the Bay area. He sent an email out to a team which still stands the test of time in this t-shirt. An excerpt:

Hey my name is Jesse Painter I have been trying to get onto a Mens Lax team for a while now that I recently graduated NDNU last Spring. You probably don’t want any young guns on your team but I am telling you I can probably out sprint any player on your team and can hit top cheese on the run everytime.
