@ConnectLAX + @MatchLax D3 Showcase = Exposure to the Right Coaches

The Match™ Division 3 Recruiting Showcase at The Hill School (Pottstown, PA) will be on Sunday, October 18, 2015.  The Match™ (www.matchlax.com) is specifically designed for players in 2016, 2017 and 2018 graduation years who are (or have the potential to be) strong Division 3 candidates – athletically and academically.  Registration is open for both Boys’ Session (http://midatlboys.matchlax.com/)  and inaugural Girls’ Session (http://midatlgirls.matchlax.com/).  Do not delay, overall enrollment is limited, spots are limited by position as well.  An array of top D3 coaches are expected to be in attendance.

ConnectLAX, whose online recruiting platform serves as “Match.com” for recruits and college coaches, is excited to be the video partner of The Match™.   Players who complete the event registration process are entitled to receive a 3-month free subscription to ConnectLAX.  Participants in the showcase will receive a 6-month subscription, which will get them listed in ConnectLAX Recruit Finder, where >2,500 registered college coaches find, evaluate and connect with recruits that fit their program.  ConnectLAX Video Packages (HD game film, a professional highlight video and mobile recruiting profile) are available to all invited boys recruits.

The name “The Match™” is intended to reinforce an overlooked reality in today’s harried recruiting scene.  Directors of the event, together with  ConnectLAX, strongly encourages recruits to “Focus on the Fit, Not the Frenzy” and evaluate lacrosse programs at multiple divisions to find the right school academically and athletically.  Strong players have an opportunity to leverage their lacrosse talents to get the best education they can, while competing at the highest possible level.

The Match™ is excited to partner with ConnectLAX to provide the participants in the event with access to the very best highlight videos and online recruiting platform.  “This unique partnership allows all players who participate in The Match™ not only to be seen by the dozens of coaches in attendance on October 18th but by other coaches on a year-round basis through ConnectLAX’s unparalleled platform,” -Scott Growney, Co-Director of The Match™.

Lacrosse Playground

In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground as the preeminent site for lacrosse gearheads. For years Lacrosse Playground provided lacrosse fans with tutorials and tips on how to string a lacrosse head, up-close looks at the gear the top players used and sneak peeks at equipment and uniforms before they were released. More than 10 years and millions of visits later, Lacrosse Playground has relaunched with a focus on storytelling. Our mission is to provide comprehensive coverage of the latest lacrosse news, share insights into the sports betting and fantasy lacrosse world and showcase the lifestyles and personalities of the sport of lacrosse through articles, videos and podcasts.
