Under Armour All America Lacrosse Classic Set for July 12


Baltimore, MD (November 19, 2013) ─ Under Armour, Inc. (NYSE: UA) and Corrigan Sports Enterprises, Inc. announced today the ninth annual Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic® will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Towson University’s Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, MD. Eighty-eight of the nation’s top male and female high school seniors will earn the sport’s most prestigious honor of being named an Under Armour All-American.

Under Armour All-Americans are selected by a panel of lacrosse experts at Inside Lacrosse magazine.  The year-long process includes input from college and high school coaches from across the country as well as nominations from the general public. All-America nominations for the class of 2014 can be submitted to www.insidelacrosse.com/underarmour.

Last year a total of forty-four former Under Armour All-Americans earned 1st, 2nd or 3rd Team All-America honors at the collegiate level. Fifteen of the game’s alumni also took home Player of the Year honors for their respective college conferences in 2013. Alumni of the game are known as the best in the sport.

 

The Under Armour Underclass Tryouts and Tournament

The Under Armour All-America games will be held at Towson University in conjunction with the Under Armour Underclass tournament July 11 – 13. The Underclass tryouts and tournament, widely recognized as the premier recruiting event of the summer, will once again feature competing male and female regional teams from Baltimore, Long Island, Midwest, New England, New Jersey, Philadelphia, South, Upstate NY, Washington, D.C. and West.

Registration for Underclass tryouts is now open. Tryout dates, locations and coaches for each region will be posted on the event website, underarmourlacrosse.com, once the information becomes available.
