BaltimoreMd. (August 18, 2014) – Corrigan Sports Enterprises, Inc. (CSE) announced today the formation of the Wranglers girls lacrosse club.  The sister program of CSE’s RoughRiders boys club program will feature three teams for the 2014/2015 season. The teams will be comprised of players who reside in the Howard County area.

Lee Corrigan, President of CSE and director of the RoughRider program, said, “As the exclusive management company of the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and its recruiting tournament series, we have a unique perspective of what it takes to run a successful girls club program.”

IWLCA recruiting tournaments have skyrocketed in popularity since partnering with CSE in 2011. In addition to the number of sanctioned tournaments growing from two in 2011 to five in 2014, tournament field sizes have also tripled. An average of 275 coaches traveled to each IWLCA tournament in 2013 as well, including an association record 557 at the President’s Cup in Orlando, Fla.

Wranglers tryouts will be held in the fall for the 2021, 2022, and 2023/2024 divisions. Tryouts will be held Sunday, September 7th from 12pm –2pm at Trinity School in Ellicott City.  Cost for the tryout is $30.
