CHARLOTTE, NC (July 13, 2012) — The Charlotte Hounds of Major League Lacrosse are proud to announce a partnership with Michigan-based Rainbow Connection, a non-profit organization that helps to grant wishes to area children with life-threatening or terminal illnesses. Drew Pointe, a 17-year-old suffering with Leukemia, wished to attend the July 14 Charlotte Hounds-Denver Outlaws game and meet Hounds goaltender Adam Ghitelman and former Outlaws defenseman Ken Clausen. MLL Charlotte Hounds To Host “U.S. Army Night”

CHARLOTTE, NC (July 6, 2012) – The Charlotte Hounds of Major League Lacrosse are proud to announce that the home game at American Legion Memorial Stadium against the Chesapeake Bayhawks on Saturday, July 7 will be “U.S. Army Night.” Hounds player Jeremy Boltus, a West Point grad and U.S. Army 2nd Lieutenant, will perform the honor of swearing 176 men and women into the U.S. Army at halftime. New York — June 14, 2012 – Maverik Lacrosse today announced that three-time All-American and MLL Charlotte Hounds starting attackman Billy Bitter is hitting the road this Summer and will be holding shooting clinics across the Midwest. Billy will be kicking off his Midwest tour on Sunday, June 17th at Notre Dame University for a two day skills clinic sponsored by Maverik followed by shooting clinics in Chicago on June 20th and Indianapolis on the 21st. Long Island Lizards and Charlotte Hounds Played in New York City’s First Major League Lacrosse Game



(New York, April 24, 2012) — CityLax, the non-profit organization founded in 2005 dedicated to using athletics, particularly lacrosse, to benefit student-athletes in underserved communities, along with Poly Prep Country Day School, co-hosted a Men’s Major League Lacrosse exhibition game this past Saturday.
