NOTRE DAME, Ind. – With five first-place votes, the University of Notre Dame was selected as the favorite to win the 2013 BIG EAST men’s lacrosse championship in a poll by the league’s seven head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own programs. Notre Dame Lacrosse has produced another cool drill for lacrosse teams to run. This drill is called Skip Pass Survivor and focuses on the technique, approach, and poise needed to defend an opposing player off of a skip pass when you are making a long approach to the ball. Read More…

The Atlantic Coast Conference Council of Presidents has unanimously voted to accept the University of Notre Dame as a new member. The Irish will compete as full members in all conference sponsored sports with the exception of football which will play five games annually against league programs. John Kemp’s Notre Dame Dye Job

John Kemp, a fellow Georgetown Prep alum, recently contacted me about doing a couple of new dyes for his goalie heads. This was the first. He wanted one either completely or mostly Green with clovers on it and his last name. I made sure these clovers were large and could be seen from a distance. I also included his name in cursive near the bottom of the head and “Irish” written across the top. Read More…

This past weekend, 12 Notre Dame Men’s Lacrosse players were caught doing what everyone does during their first few days of school, partying. I’m sure the coaches are livid as all get out. Monmouth Lacrosse Names Brian Fisher Head Lacrosse Coach

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Monmouth University will introduce Brian Fisher as its first men’s lacrosse head coach on Tuesday, July 10, 2012.
