Throne of String’s “THRONE MESH”: An Artisan Product Turning Heads & Making Friends

Wax-based lacrosse mesh has been spreading like crazy these days. It is quickly becoming an essential tool in many lacrosse players’ games. There are a few popular waxed meshes that have dominated the market. One could say that the “wax” trend began with Marc Mesh followed by East Coast Mesh, who brought the quality even further. Now, it is time to reveal the latest innovation that will revolutionize your game: Throne Mesh made exclusively by Throne of String.

As a player/coach I can strongly attest that this mesh is the Ultimate Game Changer of wax-based mesh. It’s spreading through the levels of the Lacrosse market like a hurricane, and I doubt it will ever STOP!

The benefits of wax mesh can range from its water resistance (prolonging the life of your pocket), to the fast break in time, and prevention of bagging out. These advantages and more are why so many people have tried to introduce their own wax-mesh. I don’t blame them at all, as we all have had our own horror stories making the perfect pocket, getting the mesh to perform in bad weather, and ultimately keeping it consistent, which is what everyone wants. Consumers complained heavily about other wax mesh being too sticky, being too soft, and not being worth the big-ticket price.

Joseph Williams the IV, creator of ToS, like many others was fed up for too long and put some of his skills together to make his own product: THRONE MESH. This mesh addresses all of these issues, and the very thorough technology and research that went into Throne Mesh was well worth it.

Throne Mesh is a revolutionary product. It redefines the feeling of mesh and shortens the break in time! A new piece feels between hard and soft mesh. This allows the pocket to stay stiff at the scoop and throat but remain soft where the ball is placed, producing a very defined pocket. This gives the greatest hold, without excess whip, granting the player a very clean dependable release. Throne’s wax blend has eliminated the stickiness that players up to now have been frustrated with. It does not collect dirt like other competitors, making it a longer lasting product. This also makes Throne Mesh very easy to work with! Just dial in your own sidewall pattern, give it a little pound and your stick is ready for game day glory.

Now that you have a great pocket, you will want to protect it. This is where Throne Mesh really shines. The mesh’s wax blend also makes it completely water resistant. No more bagging pockets due to poor weather conditions. Throne Mesh will continue to throw straight in adverse weather conditions.

Who would want anything else? Throne Mesh brings you the best of the best for your money. Each piece is individually handmade in the USA. You can literally string this stuff in minutes, giving you a perfect throwing pocket the FIRST TIME! Not only will your pocket be legal, channeled, and accurate, but you will also notice the hold is absolutely perfect. ToS offers a huge selection of over 17 colors in 8 mesh sizes (including goalies). Also, custom 2-color mesh has just been introduced! You can get a custom piece made for your team, favorite college, or design a custom piece for a themed stick and really standout.

This Clutch Superlight features the first custom 2 color Throne Mesh to come out of the Tos Studio. It’s purple to kelly green fade and perfect for a Joker theme. This head is strung with purple and neon green with orange accents to bring the theme full circle. Also, this head features the new ToS pocket: THE JESTER. Designed for an elite attackman, it features a true low pocket and dropped shooters for an accurate quick release.

Throne of String has so much to offer, and I personally can’t believe the owner puts this much passion into making each piece perfect for you. The customer service is A+. Go ahead and buy a piece, you will see for yourselves that this stuff is TOP QUALITY. Joe dedicates himself entirely to making the right kinds of mesh people want and that’s what they get. Check out his website (www.throneofstring.com) and you’ll find stringing kits, stringing services, and even apparel. He offers you the choice to purchase his product to string yourself or to send him your head for a custom pocket with endless options, and you GET WHAT YOU EXPECT, NOTHING LESS. Joseph is the King of Mesh Creation and Design by far; he can put dark magic into your stick you can only dream about. THRONE MESH is finally here!
