Colgate’s Peter Baum Wins the 2012 Tewaaraton Award

HAMILTON, N.Y. (5/31/12) – Colgate men's lacrosse junior Peter Baum added to his list of major awards this season, adding the 2012 Tewaaraton Award as the nation's top men's lacrosse player this season. Baum, who was the first Colgate and second Patriot League player to be named a Tewaaraton Award Finalist, became the first player in program and league history to win the award. The Portland, Ore., native is also the first men’s Tewaaraton finalist and winner from west of the Mississippi and is the seventh attackman to receive the men’s Tewaaraton Award. Read More...

Mountain Hawks lead South to 15-14 win in North-South Game (Video)

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Adam Johnston scored a pair of goals while Cameron Lao-Gosney added one to help lead the South All-Stars past the North,15-14, last Friday at Harvard Stadium. Roman Lao-Gosney also took part while Lehigh head coach Kevin Cassese co-coached the South with good friend Shawn Nadelen of Towson. Young Female Lacrosse Players Learn How to be Good Sports

Baltimore, Md. – Twelve 2nd and 3rd grade Catonsville Girls Lacrosse players are learning what caring is all about when they formed a lacrosse team to support the Casey Cares Foundation. “Team Casey Cares” is playing in The Beach Lax Festival in Ocean City, Maryland. The team raised money and donated more than $300 to Casey Cares. They had uniforms made with the Casey Cares logo and plan to make a poster to take to each game to spread awareness about Casey Cares, a charity that provides uplifting and ongoing programs with a special touch to critically ill children and their families.
