CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Loyola University Maryland’s Grant Limone was named the Corvias Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time this season, two days after posting nine saves in the Greyhounds’ 17-7 victory over the U.S. Naval Academy.

Limone, who was also honored last month after a career-high 18 saves in a win at the U.S. Military Academy, stopped nine of the 14 shots on goal her faced Saturday against the Midshipmen. He yielded just five goals in more than 54 minutes of game action.

The freshman also had two ground balls in the victory against the conference’s first-place team.

Limone has started the last seven games for the Greyhounds, and in more than 454 minutes of action this year, he has a 10.04 goals against average and 52.2 saves percentage.

The Greyhounds play their final non-conference game of the 2015 regular-season on Wednsday when they travel to College Park to face the University of Maryland in a 7 o’clock game at Byrd Stadium.
