Maverik’s Second Film in its “Evolve The Player, Advance The Game” Campaign

New York, December 9, 2011 – Today, Maverik Lacrosse is proud to release ‘BOOST’, the second film in its “Evolve The Player, Advance The Game” campaign. The film gives a unique behind the scenes look at the creation of Maverik’s brand new 2012 BOOST lacrosse shaft.

Maverik starts with the player input and experience, then employs the technology. Maveriks’ research and development lab staffs over 90 technicians, designers and engineers and houses some of the most advanced machinery and equipment in the sports industry. This allows Maverik to pair its unique player insight with the innovation and technology from some of the best minds in the game. The result: high-performance gear that pushes the player and the game forward.

Inspired by the overwhelming popularity of Maverik’s Wonderboy Shaft, the Maverik product development team worked tirelessly challenging new materials in effort to achieve the perfect strength-to-weight ratio. Maverik is proud to introduce the NEW Forza Alloy, a proprietary aircraft grade alloy blend combined with a new aggressive concave shape making the BOOST the strongest and lightest shaft in the Maverik arsenal. The BOOST also incorporates Maverik’s own TACTILE and STICKUM GRIP technology for vice-like grip and maximum feel providing the ultimate shaft for the elite player.

“Our goal was to create the best high-end shaft on the market,” said Kyle Sweeney, VP of Product Development at Maverik Lacrosse.
