BALTIMORE, MD - Johns Hopkins University President Ronald J. Daniels announced today that the Blue Jay men's lacrosse team has been accepted by the Big Ten Conference as a sport affiliate member. The announcement comes on the same day that the Big Ten announced the addition of men's lacrosse as an official conference sport. Big Ten play is scheduled to begin during the 2015 season. (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference has honored four individuals as recipients of the 2013 ACC Men’s Lacrosse annual awards, announced Tuesday as voted on by the league’s four head coaches. North Carolina’s Marcus Holman was named the Offensive Player of the Year, and Duke’s Brendan Fowler garnered Defensive Player of the Year accolades.
